Paradise in Hell

Home is always beautiful, home is when your mind is at rest.
For many this is home, they don’t think about comparing with home,
For many this is home, just because they are away from home.
But for many it is home because it is paradise in hell.

For many it is home, not because they have it in their minds,
They were born here, the sound of the home is heard on whispers alone.
Tell them to sketch home, a different nationality is what comes to mind.
Do they know what it means to be home?
Home is a paradise within paradise, not a paradise in hell.

For many it is home, just because they are away from home.
Compared to home, it is peaceful — no death brought by slayers.
Unlike home, it is segregation — a reminder of not having.
That is how it feels to be in paradise, where you die many times, not once.

Home is a paradise within paradise, not a paradise in hell.
When you hear cries, this is the way we live our hearts.
Cries of being in hell, it’s the sorrow we carry,
Harsh weather is the nature, hardship the only prosperity.
If you jokingly ask them to go back home, they’d prefer their fate to this paradise in hell.
Home is a paradise within paradise, not a paradise in hell.

The world believes in equity, we believe in togetherness.
We are different, no equality here. We are different, but we have togetherness.
Will you ask me to depart? I prefer home in death to paradise
Original home! I can create, in this paradise you wait to be fed
Home is a paradise within paradise, not a paradise in hell.

Home can be home, only when you don’t nickname me immigrant, terrorist.
Do we have an income? Tell us we are good for the economy,
If we want adventure? Allow for that freedom is what we learned in this paradise.
When you open your palms, let that be a wish you want for me,
Home is a paradise within paradise, not a paradise in hell.

Give us permanence, our children don’t deserve this,
We came here, we don’t need pity.
We came here, we don’t want to be in cages,
We came because the world needs our mind.
Let it be paradise within paradise, not paradise in hell.
